Wintery New Years Eve!

Hello TCM friends! Veronica Z here to share a winter card I created to celebrate the "white"stuff a lot of us got hit with this week! Snow is pretty special where I live in the southern USA, so having a White Christmas truly was a dream come true! With snow on my mind I thought I would create a card using one of my favorite TCM stamp sets "Let It Snow".

To create my snow scene I used a piece of white glitter card stock, a craft knife, and a steady hand. Easy! I added a stitched, and button border to added dimension.  I colored the bird house, and stamped the sentiment on a die cut flag. I finished off my card with a fun multi-color bow!

I am glad you stopped by, and I want to wish everyone A Happy New Year!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hiya TCM Fans!

It's Sharri here to share a card with you!  Now that Christmas is past us, I am jumping right into making my Valentine's cards!

I used the Valentine Wishes set for my card.

Valentine Wishes

I paper pieced this lil' sweetie's dress and the heart she is holding. The rest is colored with copics - Skin - E000, 00, 21, 20/ Hair - E42, 43, 44, 47/ Pants & Shoes - R81, 83, 85/ Ground - N0, 1, 2/Shadow around image - E40, Colorless Blender.
I stamped the Happy Valentine's Day sentiment on a heart diecut.

I finished off my card with a 'Love Banner" :^)

Remember, if you make a project using The Craft's Meow stamps and upload them to either Splitcoaststampers or Flickr, be sure to add your project to the TCM galleries. We love seeing our fans beautiful creations using our stamps and you never know...your project could be featured on our Facebook Page!

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

Celebrate the Season

Hi there! Jean here to share my TCM project with you today. I'm still stuck in Christmas mode and so I decided to make another Christmas card before December ends.

For my card, I used Christmas Cheer, Holiday Foundations, O Christmas Tree.

O Christmas Tree

I also have the image of gray stripes stuck in my head. lol. So I made a striped background using Holiday Foundations. I love how the distressed stripes actually look like birch trees. It actually gave me the idea to use the Christmas trees from Christmas Cheer.

I'm very into using color combinations other than the traditional ones for my Christmas cards. So for this one, I used aqua, kaft and gray. Here's one more detail shot of my card. I heat embossed a border of snowflakes using Holiday Foundations and sewed it onto the card. And for my sentiment, I used one from O Christmas Tree.

I hope you were able to make all of your Christmas cards this year. If not, there's always next year! :) Enjoy the rest of the holiday! Thank you for stopping by today! :)

Celebrate the Season

Howdy friends and The Craft's Meow fans!  It's Jen del Muro here to share one of my holiday card creations with you today...

For this card I used a couple of my favorite TCM sets, O Christmas Tree and Holiday Foundations...

It's been a while since I completely left off pattern paper from a card or project on purpose.  I love that the candy cane stripes and snowflakes from the Holiday Foundations set provide the patterns I needed for this card and that I didn't have to dig through piles of papers to find the perfect match.  The patterns were stamped in pigment ink in order to get the vibrant and solid color on the paper.  I am finding myself drawn to my ColorBox cat eyes lately and they work like a charm with my TCM stamps.

Detail shot...

I wanted the main image panel to stand on its own, but the card still needed a little something.  I added a white embossed panel with distressed edges.  As for my final touches, I just added a few rhinestones to set off the snowflake and sentiment...sweet and simple...just the way I plan to celebrate the season.

Happy Holidays, friends!

Wishing you Joy

Good morning!  Lin here with a card I made using 2 of our newest Christmas stamp sets, Hearth and Home  and Holiday Foundations.

I just love wreaths for every season, so I decided to use the holly sprigs from Hearth and Home to make one for you.  They were colored, cut out and popped above some peppermint stripe paper, and then I added some red pearl berries and a little jingle bell bow.  I thought this beautiful sentiment from Holiday Foundations complimented it perfectly.  It is my wish for you this Holiday!

Green and Orange Sympathy Card!

Hey everybody,

Gayatri here! I am deviating from Christmas festivities today to share a sympathy card with you.
This card showcases Karen.B's Hope Blooms Stamp set.

Hope Blooms

I love this set because of the delicate flowers. Here is my sympathy card I made using masking technique.

After stamping and colouring, I decided to trim the panel. I trimmed straight from top and bottom but hand cut the flowers to add interest.I then tied the bow using green twine and added orange button. Then I mounted the panel on the green cardbase. I love the pop of orange colour and with the green and white, the combination is amazing. Hope you like it.

Have a  Merry and safe Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
I will see you early next year.

Thanks for visiting!

Happy Holidays

Hello friends, Jennifer here to share a card with you that is based on this month's sketch challenge!  Check out this great sketch from Nina -
For my card, I started out with some patterned papers and then stamped the tree from "Christmas Cheer" onto some cream cardstock, cut them out, and added some sequin "ornaments."  I stamped the "Happy Holidays" sentiment from the set onto the ledger paper and finished it off with some tassel trim.  Fun!
